Questions, answered.
Getting started, insurance, and how the work actually works.
Getting started
How do I get started?
Reach out through the contact form or give us a call. Lauren, our intake lead, will learn what you're looking for and match you with the clinician most likely to fit.
How does matching work?
We pair you intentionally — weighing your needs, goals and preferences against each clinician's strengths. If it's ever not the right fit, you can always ask to switch.
What happens in the first session?
Mostly getting to know each other: your history, what brings you in, and what you're hoping for. Your clinician will explain how they work and invite your questions.
Do you see adults, teens and kids?
Yes — we work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, plus occupational and speech-language therapy for kids.
Insurance & payment
What insurance do you take?
We take BCBS PPO. Reach out and we'll help you understand your specific coverage.
Is neuropsychological testing covered?
Coverage for testing varies by plan. We'll help you understand what to expect before you commit to an evaluation.
How do I find out what I'll owe?
Lauren handles billing and insurance questions with care — reach out and she'll walk you through it.
Therapy & counseling
How long will I be in therapy?
It depends on your goals. Some people come for a focused stretch; others stay for deeper, longer-term work. We revisit your goals together along the way.
What approaches do your therapists use?
Many — relational, psychodynamic, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR, CBT/ERP and more — chosen and blended to fit you, not the other way around.
Do you offer couples counseling?
Yes. We help couples surface and shift unhealthy patterns and build a stronger bond — see our couples counseling page for more.
Kids & families
How involved are parents?
Very. With children especially, we work with both the child and their caregivers — coaching strategies you can carry into everyday life.
Do you offer OT and speech therapy?
Yes — occupational therapy and speech-language therapy, coordinated with talk therapy under one roof so your child's providers actually talk to each other.
Can you coordinate with our school or pediatrician?
Yes, with your permission. Coordinated care is one of the biggest advantages of having so many services in one place.
Testing & assessment
What is a neuropsychological evaluation?
An in-depth look at how the brain works — attention, memory, language, processing speed, executive functioning, learning and emotional development — that turns confusion into a clear, actionable picture.
Who is testing for?
Children, adolescents and adults. Many adults pursue testing for ADHD, learning differences or long-standing questions that were never fully answered.
When will we get results?
After testing, we score and integrate everything, then meet for a dedicated feedback session and provide a full written report you can share with schools, physicians or other providers.
Reach out. We'll take it from here.
Tell us a little about what's bringing you in. We'll match you with the clinician most likely to meet your needs.
