Stuck on a case? Let's think it through.

Boundary- and personality-related challenges are our specialty: collaboration, never judgment.

Why consultation matters

Being a helping professional is one of the most meaningful jobs in the world. Clients trust us with their most vulnerable, frightened parts. And sometimes we hear things that feel confusing, heavy, or hard to hold.

When we hit a blind spot in treatment — or notice ourselves becoming reactive — it's our ethical duty to seek consultation. Boundary-related and personality-related challenges are Dr. Danielle Dragon's area of expertise.

If you're struggling to treat a client, or simply want to process a session, reach out for a supportive and insightful collaboration.

Consultations can help you think through:

  • Complex or stuck cases
  • Boundary & personality-related challenges
  • Narcissistic abuse dynamics
  • Countertransference & reactivity
  • Diagnostic clarity
  • Treatment planning
  • Processing a difficult session
  • Protecting against burnout

How consultation works

  1. 01

    Reach out

Tell us what you're navigating — a specific case, a recurring pattern, or a session you want to process.

  2. 02

    We think it through together

We meet, in person or over secure video, and bring fresh eyes and a research-informed, psychodynamic lens to the clinical picture.

  3. 03

    You leave with direction

Concrete, collegial perspective you can carry straight back into the room — offered with support and empowerment, never judgment.

Common questions

Who is consultation for?

Licensed clinicians and graduate-level trainees — therapists, counselors, social workers and psychologists — who want a thoughtful second mind on their work.

Is this the same as supervision?

Consultation is collegial and case-focused. It isn't a substitute for the formal supervision required for licensure, though it can complement it well.

Can we meet virtually?

Yes. Consultation is available in person in Lincolnwood or over secure video — whichever fits your schedule.

What does it cost?
