About this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how The Couch Method (“we,” “us” or “our”), a service of Danielle Dragon, PLLC, handles information collected through this website. It applies to couchmethodtherapy.com and the forms and features available here.

Information you share as a client during the course of care is protected health information governed by our separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law — not by this website policy. If you have questions about your clinical record, please contact us directly.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and operate the site:

  • Information you provide. When you complete the contact form or email or call us, we collect your name, contact details and anything you choose to tell us about why you're reaching out.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may record basic technical data such as your browser type, device, approximate location and the pages you visit.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, match you with a clinician, schedule and coordinate care, answer billing and insurance questions, and improve how the site works. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.

Please don't send sensitive details by form or email

Email and web forms are convenient but are not fully secure or HIPAA-compliant channels. When you first reach out, please share only enough to start the conversation. Avoid sending detailed health information, and we'll move sensitive discussions to a secure, appropriate channel.

Cookies & analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work as well if you do.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted service providers — for example, website hosting, form delivery and analytics — that process limited information on our behalf. These providers are only permitted to use that information to provide their service to us. This site may also link to other websites whose privacy practices we don't control.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information collected through this site. No method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we take protecting your information seriously.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for parents, caregivers and adults seeking services. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. Care for minors is arranged and consented to by a parent or guardian.

Your choices

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have, to correct it, or to ask us to delete information you've sent through the site, subject to any records we're required to keep by law or professional obligation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
